Abstract

233,946. Barrie, C. E. Aug. 18, 1924. Folding boxes; corner joints.-In a collapsable shipping case &c., of the type in which the sides 6 and ends 7 are hinged to the bottom 5, the sides, ends and bottom each consist of a, rectangular frame to which is secured a sheet of veneer or the like. The sides and ends are secured in the erect position by bolts 15 which extend through the frame members of adjoining sections, the ends 7 being provided with inwardly projecting flanges 14 against which the frame members of the sides 6 abut. The cover 8 which may be formed in the same manner as the sides &c., is provided with depending flanges 18 which engage over the tops of the sides.
