Abstract

233,820. Wilson, F. E. March 5, 1924. Binding-posts and terminals; connection fittings.-For connecting a number of leads to theterminal of an electric circuit a number of spring. clips are used, each adapted to receive a lead, the clips being threaded upon a rod and connected to a plate secured to the rod and to the terminal. Pairs of flat springs a having a clip mouth a<1> are threaded upon an insulating sleeve b mounted on a rod c, with insulating washers d between the clips. Alternate clips are electrically connected as shown by strips i and the end clips are clamped against plates e<1> which are bent and secured under the terminals f. The horizontal portions e<2> of the plates e<1> may be pivoted or slotted to permit adjustment.
