Adding and subtracting apparatus.-An instrument for interconverting true and magnetic bearings comprises a stationary graduated ring A surrounding a similarly graduated rotary disc C surmounted by a rotatable printer F which is shown in the form of the plan of a ship having lateral arms serving as supplementary pointers for indicating four-point and beam bearings. A coaxial but independent pointer may be added for reading wireless directional bearings.
