A conventional insect catching device has a plurality of openings. The insects can enter the insect catching device via the openings. However, the insects may leave the insect catching device via the openings.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide an insect catching device which can catch insects easily.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a perspective exploded view of an insect catching device of a first preferred embodiment; FIG. 2 is a sectional assembly view of an insect catching device of a first preferred embodiment; FIG. 3 is a schematic view illustrating a rotation of a plurality of helical blades; FIG. 4 is a perspective exploded view of an insect catching device of a second preferred embodiment; FIG. 5 is a sectional assembly view of an insect catching device of a second preferred embodiment; FIG. 6 is a sectional assembly view of an insect catching device of a third preferred embodiment; and FIG. 6A is a perspective view of a rod and a dish seat.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, an insect catching device 2 comprises a hollow can 21, a cover 22 covering the hollow can 21, and a cap 24 disposed on the cover 22.
The hollow can 21 has an upper outer threaded portion 211. The cap 24 has a cone portion 241 and a brim 242.
A lug 243 is disposed on an outer center of the cap 24.
A threaded bar 244 is disposed on an inner center of the cap 24. A post 221 is disposed on the cover 22. A plurality of helical blades 222 are connected to the post 221. A plurality of insect inlets 223 are formed on the cover 22. Each of the insect inlets 223 has a sharp periphery edge 2231 to prevent an insect from leaving the insect catching device. The cover 22 has a lower inner threaded portion 225 engaging with the upper outer threaded portion 211. The post 221 has an upper threaded hole 220 receiving the threaded bar 244. A sex pheromone is placed in the hollow can 21.
Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, a second insect catching device 2' comprises a hollow can 21', a cover 22' covering the hollow can 21', and a cap 24' disposed on the cover 22'. The hollow can 21' has an upper outer threaded portion 211'. The cap 24' has a cone portion 241' and a brim 242'. A lug 243' is disposed on an outer center of the cap 24'. A threaded bar 244' is disposed on an inner center of the cap 24'. A post 221' is disposed on the cover 22'. A plurality of helical blades 222' are connected to the post 221'. A plurality of insect inlets 223' are formed on the cover 22'. Each of the insect inlets 223' has a sharp periphery edge 2231' to prevent an insect from leaving the insect catching device.
The cover 22' has a lower inner threaded portion 225' engaging with the upper outer threaded portion 211'.
The post 221' has an upper threaded hole 220' receiving the threaded bar 244' and a lower post hole 224'. A partition disk 23' has a pillar 231' inserted in the lower post hole 224' and a plurality of meshes 232'. A sex pheromone is placed in the partition disk 23'. The partition disk 23' is disposed between the hollow can 21' and the cover 22'.
Referring to FIGS. 6, a third insect catching device 2'' comprises a hollow can 21'', a cover 22'' covering the hollow can 21", and a cap 24'' disposed on the cover 22''. The hollow can 21'' has an upper outer threaded portion 211". The cap 24'' has a cone portion 241'' and a brim 242''. A lug 243'' is disposed on an outer center of the cap 24''. A threaded bar 244'' is disposed on an inner center of the cap 24''. A post 221'' is disposed on the cover 22''. A plurality of helical blades 222'' are connected to the post 2211'. A plurality of insect inlets 223'' are formed on the cover 22''. Each of the insect inlets 223'' has a sharp periphery edge 2231' to prevent an insect from leaving the insect catching device. The cover 22'' has a lower inner threaded portion 225'' engaging with the upper outer threaded portion 211''. The post 221'' has an upper threaded hole 220' receiving the threaded bar 244" and a lower post hole 224''. A rod 23l'' is inserted in the lower post hole 224''.
