Electric stoves. - The electric stove described in the parent Specification has its tubular heating member 1, formed with ribs 1<1> which position it in the shell 2. The spaces between the ribs are filled with sand or other heat retaining substance, and the heating wires are also embedded in the outer side of the member 1. The top cover of the stove may be formed as a hot plate, the heating wire being on its upper outer surface.
