Cleaning internally, rotary appliances for.-A rotary tool for use in cleaning boiler tubes and the like, and of the type having loosely fitted toothed discs arranged side by side on a pin, has the pin carrying the discs mounted eccentrically to the axis of the flexible driving shaft and its free end unsupported. In one form the pin d is a helix with one or both ends turned into the axis of the helix, and with one end carried by the end of a flexible shaft a. In an alternative form the spindle h carrying the discs is flexible and secured eccentrically at one end to the end of a flexible shaft a. The sets of cutter discs f are separated by eccentric-shaped nuts k which add to the centrifugal action of the tool.
