Abstract

A thrust bearing assembly 20 made of synthetic resin and for use with an automobile thrust-strut type suspension comprises a lower casing 21, an upper casing 22, and a bearing piece which may be integral with one of the casings or may be separate 62. The bearing piece is disposed within the upper and lower casings upon snap-fitting a hook portion of an annular suspended portion of the upper casing with an engaging portion of an annular protruded portion of the lower casing. Two annular inner labyrinth portions and two annular outer labyrinth portions are respectively formed at inner and outer peripheral portions of the thrust bearing. <IMAGE>
