Description

VEHIClE STICKERS This invention relates to vehicle stickers, particularly but not exclusively cars.
According to this invention a vehicle sticker comprises magnetic material.
The material may be pliable and flexible.
The material may be mouldable.
In an example a sticker is of magnetic material in the form of a pliable and flexible mouldable plastics incorporating magnetic particles so that the sticker can be removably applied to the outer surface of a metal part of a car or other vehicle.
The sticker may be individual letters or letters joined together or could be any other design.
The invention may be performed in various ways and some specific embodiments with possible modifications will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Sig. 1 shows a van with sticker; fig. 2 shows a car with sticker; and Figs. 3 and 4 show examples of stickers.
In Fig. 1 a van 10 has a sticker 11 on one or both sides 12. The sticker 11 for example is the words and number 40th Anniversary. The sticker 11 comprises magnetic material so that the sticker can be removably applied to the outer surface of the metal side of the van. The sticker is held to the vehicle by magnetic forces.
The material could be that known as Flexible Ferrite available from Magnet Developments Limited of Swindon, Wiltshire SN6 7NA, England. The pliable and flexible mouldable plastics material in strip or sheet form is cut to a desired outline e.g. Merry Christmas, Just Married, with all letters Joined together for each word. The outer face of the sticker may have a coloured or other decorative finish.
As shown in Fig. 2, several stickers may be applied to the vehicle.
The material may include an adhesive backing and/or a matt pvc outer facing.
The letters in the sticker could be applied individually.
The arrangement provides a new form of portraying art.
The sticker may comprise numbers and/or words and/or representations e.g. of people or things, such as trees (Fig. 4).
The words may represent a greeting e.g. Hello (Fig. 3).

Claims (8)

ClAIMS
1. A vehicle sticker comprising magnetic material.
2. A sticker as- claimed in Claim 1, which is removable from a vehicle.
3. A sticker as claimed in Claim 1, having an adhesive backing.
4. A sticker as claimed in any preceding Claim, formed from flexible material.
5. A sticker as claimed in any preceding Claim, formed as letters joined together.
6. A sticker as claimed in any preceding Claim, representing a greeting.
7. A vehicle sticker substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to and as shown in the accompanying drawings.
8. A vehicle having a sticker as claimed in any preceding Claim.
