Abstract

222,842. Aktieselskabet Dansk Rekylriffel Syndikat. Oct. 4, 1923, [Convention date]. Cartridge magazines.-A drum magazine in which the cartridges are fed forwards in a spiral path 4, 5 by a radial arm under the action of a spiral spring 13 has the arm variable in length so that the free end of it engages the wide end of the innermost cartridge in the spiral track. The arm is formed by telescoping tubes 10, 11, 12 extended by an internal spring, the tube 12 terminating in a pusher 22 carrying a roller 23 engaging the track 4. The hub of the spring 13 engages by a key 16 with the hub 8 of the radial arm which is turned by a key-slot 17 to wind the spring. A lever 27 prevents the cartridges leaving the magazine except when the magazine is attached to the gun.
