Abstract

222,794. Klein, J. May 19, 1924. Elastic valves.-In a valve or cock having a closing element in the form of a section of thick india-rubber tube 5, Figs. 1 and 2, which is compressed axially so as to close the water passage through the tube, the casing 11 is made removable from the water inlet conduit 1, as shown, the right-angled termination A of the said conduit being inserted through a slot 10 and interposed between the screwed spindle 14 and the annular compression washer 4. The cock may be fitted with a doubly-curved removable outlet nozzle 8, as shown, or with a straight outlet.
