Abstract

217,106. Collins, T. B. Sept. 8, 1923. Discharging by tilting container. - A doughmaking machine of the kind comprising a pan rotatably mounted on a wheeled carriage is provided with means on the carriage for tilting the pan about an axis located in front of the pan. The pan 1 mounted on the carriage 2 is supported on rollers and rotated by bevel gear from a, shaft 5. The carriage is provided with brackets 9 supporting a cross shaft 10 on which quadrants 11 are mounted. The quadrants are operated by worm gearing on shafts 22 driven by chain and bevel gear from a hand wheel 16, and are fitted with inwardly projecting rollers 12 which engage between lugs 14, 15 on the pan. The pan is also provided with lugs 27, 28 which engage a block 26.
