Abstract

215,128. Pine, G. Feb. 16, 1923. Buckets and pails; handles.-A bucket A. Fig. 1, is provided with a perforated plate B secured to each side of the bucket and a perforated plate D secured to extensions of the handle so that movement of the handle from the vertical to the horizontal position causes the plate D to be pressed towards the plate B so as to wring a mop placed between the plates. In a modification the end of the bucket is used instead of the plate B. In the construction shown in Fig. 3, perforated plates J, K are secured at each end to rods such as F, G, which are pivotally connected at their lower ends to a side of the bucket, and at their upper ends to rods L, M linked to the handle O.
