Portable buildings; awnings.-A collapsable building for use in protecting motor vehicles has the cross frames a, f, e and cross bars b hinged at their centres so that after collapse the frames may be folded about their centres to half the width. The ridge piece c is adapted to fold downwards at its centre and the side bars d to fold upwards during collapse. Diagonal web stiffening h may give extra support to the structure.
