Folding-seats.-In a seat of the kind having rear legs 12 pivoted to front legs 6 and adapted to be folded inwardly by a pivotal movement of the seat member 1, the legs 12 pass through elements 5 rigidly secured to the sides of the seat 1 at the rear thereof, and preferably consisting of loops inclined relatively to the length of the seat. The seat pivot may consist of a rod 14, and the rear legs are pivoted to the front legs at a point 13 close to the seat member.
