Piston apparatus for discharging receptacles.-Apparatus for filling grease pumps consists of a cylinder b provided with a removable piston c having a leather c<1> and vanes f and mounted upon a screwed rod c provided at the bottom with a ball joint d and at the top with a handle h and a loosely-mounted cylinder cover g. The grease pump j to be filled is mounted on the base a with its nozzle k connected to the cylinder by a duct m which may contain a valve and is held by a clamp o adjustably mounted in a movable bracket n. When the cylinder is filled with grease, the piston is inserted and screwed down to fill the pump.
