Abstract
204,996. Jonker, Z. J. H. Jan. 15, 1923. Generating by heated liquids.- A Perkin's tube 2 for heating a steam boiler or the like has a return branch 6 for the condensed vapour, which is discharged into the bottom of the part of the tube within the boiler-water space through an elongated horizontal opening. A jacket around the upper part of the tube is formed in sections, each section 10 having a side bottom opening 11 and a flared open top 12. The upper part of the tube may be formed with circumferential or longitudinal ribs.
