Abstract

A vehicle is provided with a light which indicates to a following driver that the vehicle is accelerating or decelerating. The light may be of variable intensity in dependence on the degree of acceleration, and may be actuated by an accelerator pedal. A colour different from existing lights is preferably used. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Kobing go-light GENERAL STATEMENT Kobing Go-Light is an equipment with a signal light for vehicles, to monitor the intention to accelerate or decelerate (or to monitor acceleration and deceleration) for drivers of vehicles behind. Kobing Go-Light has been designed to increase safety of road transport under any conditions.
KOBING GO-LlGHT(further KI-GO) is an equipment with a non-dazzling light differing in colour from all the signal lights at present used on motor vehicles (colour other than red or yellow), and different from lights on emergency vehicles.
KI-GO is actuated by accelerator pedal or any other device/part, equipment, mechanism or instrument -- further only "device" -- and its intensity ranges from zero to full light, simultaneously with the use of accelerator, or any alternative means of actuation, i.e. no actuation no light, full actuationfull light.
The intensity of the light increases and decreases gradually, with the accelerating and decelerating (actuating or de-actuating), and switches off with zero actuation.
Drivers of vehicles fitted with KI-GO make it possible for the drivers behind a) to monitor (anticipate) the change of speed of the vehicle in front, by giving them an early warning. KI-GO increases the safety of road transport.
b) After dark KI-GO stimulates the attention of drivers, especially on motorways, whose eyesight is tired by the monotony of red and orange signal lights, by introducing a new advance warning element.
c) KI-GO increases the safety of travelling in convoy.
KI-GO consists of 3 parts: 1. The lamp. Three different options have been considered: a) D.l.Y. suction pad lamp to be fitted on the rear windows in accordance with transport regulations.
b) Separate lamp can be fixed at the back of the vehicle in accordance with transport regulations.
c) Lamp can be embodied into the system of signal lights at the rear of any vehicle.
2. Device changing the intensity of electric current in connection with the depression of the pedal, or decelerating or accelerating actuated by other means.
3. Wiring system
CLAIMS Statement of Claim Kobing Go-light 1. We claim that Kobing GO-Light (further KI-GO) is an equipment designed to increase the safety of road transport under any condition. KI-GO is an equipment with a signal light for vehicles, to monitor the intention to accelerate or decelerate (or to monitor acceleration and deceleration) for drivers in vehicle behind. Non-dazzling light is differing in colour from all the signal lights at present used on motor vehicles (colour other than red or yellow) and is different from lights on emergency vehicles.KI-GO is actuated by accelerator pedal or any other device/part, equipment, mechanism or instrument -- further only "device" -- and its intensity ranges from zero to minimum light to full/max light, simulataneously with the use of accelerator or any alternative means (device) of actuation, i.e. no actuation -- no light or low light, full actuation full light/maximum.
The intensity of the light increases and decreases gradually with the accelerating and decelerating (actuating or de-actuating), and switches off or reduces to lowest intensity of light with zero actuation.
Drivers of vehicles fitted with KI-GO make it possible for the drivers behind a) to monitor (anticipate) the change of speed of the vehicle in front, by giving them an early warning. KI-GO increases the safety of road transport.
b) After dark KI-GO stimulates the attention of drivers, especially on motorways.

2. Device changing the intensity of electric current in connection with the depression of the pedal, or declerating or accelerating actuated by other means (device).
3. Wiring system.
