Abstract

Adhesive polymers consist of graft copolymers obtained by a free- radical-generating reaction, performed in an aqueous suspension at a temperature of between 60 and 150 DEG C, to graft one or more unsaturated compounds suitable for free-radical-generating polymerization to a substrate consisting of either a random ethylene/vinyl or acrylic ester copolymer or an atactic polyolefin. These polymers may be used in adhesive compositions such as heat-melting adhesives.
