Abstract

A device (11) is provided for the controlled or regulated supply of an oscillating magnet of a vibrating conveyor, for example for use on a chute supplying bulk material to scales or other measuring instruments. The device comprises a coil (L) of the magnet incorporated into an oscillator circuit which contains a capacitor (C) and electronic switching elements (S1, S2, S3, S4) which control or regulate amplitude, waveform and frequency of the oscillation by controlling the relative turn-on and turn-off times of transistors (or GTO thyristors) S1 and S3. The coil L may be short-circuited by S1 and S2 during parts of a cycle, so that stepped or trapezoidal oscillations are possible. <IMAGE>
