Abstract

A spreader for matter such as liquid, solid manure or fertiliser which can also be used as a general transporter in which the floor has a conveyor feeding out through a closable end gate 50, a dismountable rotor, (not shown), being mounted above the rear end of the conveyor to throw matter against the open end gate and thence on to broadcast rotors 31 below the end gate. The end gate is adjustably opened according to the nature of the material to be spread. <IMAGE>
