Abstract

A filling level indicator has a measuring scale 1 which is arranged in a housing and from which a pointer, by means of a magnetic coupling, is actuated by a measurement transmitting means, and the housing 2 has at least one perpendicular, flat side surface 12. A mirror 14 which is of a bent or angled configuration, is attached to the surface 12 to allow the scale to be viewed when it cannot be seen directly. The indicator is mounted on an expansion vessel of an oil cooled transformer and the level varies with temperature. <IMAGE>
