Abstract

A pump 26 has a rotor 62 driven by an electric motor 24 which comprises an armature 38 supported by bearings 42, 90, the bearing 90 being mounted in a cheek plate 76 of the pump. To centre the bearing 90 the cheek plate is furnished with locating pins 96 which engage the inner surface of a common housing 14. A cam ring 72 and outer-cheek plate 84 of the pump also may be mounted on the locating pins. The rotor 62 may comprise slipper-type vanes (66), Fig. 3 (not shown), which slide on the cam ring. <IMAGE>
