Abstract

201,416. Binns, J. Aug. 9, 1922. Alarm mechanism.-Means are provided in the alarm mechanism of a clock for stopping and automatically resetting the alarm. The alarm is set by means of a disc D geared with a disc C by the 24-hours pinion having an indent co-operating with a finger to release the alarm. A recess B<2> in the sliding piece B co-operates with the indent. By pushing in the sliding piece, the alarm is stopped, and the sliding piece is automatically reset by pins &c. C<2> on the disc or hour-wheel which engage a downward projection B<6> on the sliding piece twice in twenty-four hours and move it into the alarm position.
