Abstract

201,370. Senior, F. June 30, 1922. Trouser presses and stretchers; coat hangers.- A lazy-tongs type of stretcher is provided with a pivoted strengthening piece S and with a pivoted rod R for stretching. The rod R is supported at its end remote from the pivot in a swivel jaw bearing on one of the lattice members C<2>. Strips of fibre board &c. of usual construction are placed on the edge of the garment when stretched and held in position by spring clips. The clamp member A may be provided with a coat hanger H which may be rigid or collapsable.
