Abstract

In a cold bending process an outer pipe and an eccentric inner pipe are both bent in a single operating step. A bending core 3, which serves for the bending of the outer pipe, is provided with a longitudinal recess to receive the inner pipe and thereby at the same time form a bending guide for this inner pipe. The core 3 may be rotated as the pipes are drawn on by rotary head 6 whereby pipe 2 is given a helical form. The core recess may contain an adjustable inset. <IMAGE>
