Abstract

A foundation garment comprises a girdle forming a lower part 2, two cups forming an upper part 1 and two separate coupling projections 4 on one of said parts releasably introduced into and engaging in respective coupling recesses 3b in two hoops 3 fastened to the other of said parts, thereby releasably connecting the respective cups to the lower part, each hoop may be rigid or built up from individual rigid hoop elements. <IMAGE>
