Abstract

A roof structure comprises sheets 24 of, e.g. aluminium alloy, extending between rafters 10 and held in place by metal clamping strips 25 having edge formations bridging the edges of two sheets, and being flexed against the edges of the sheets by fastenings passing between the edges and being secured to the rafters. The rafters 10 have box-like upper formations 16 with a slotted upper face 17, and the fastenings comprise bolts 27 and captive nuts 28. The rafters extend down from an upper edge member 1 carrying a fascia (19) to a lower edge member (7) with an integral gutter (8). <IMAGE>
