Abstract

Ceramic piezo-electric material on the basis of a real five-material- mixed crystal system defined by the basic formula v.PbTiO3 + w.Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 + x.Pb(Mn1/3Nb2/3)O3 + y.Pb(Ni1/3 Nb2/3)O3 + z.PbZrO3, the quantities of the components v w, x, y and z being located in the following range: 0.300 </= v </=0.500 0.01 </= w </=0.250 0.045 </= x </=0.135 0.01</= y </=0.12 0.250 </= z </=0.450 and v + w + x + y + z = 1. Compared with multi-material systems which are doped only the material has more advantageous values for the parameters Q (mechanical quality factor) and T.D. (temperature dependence of the resonant frequency) which are relevant to resonator and filter applications.
