Abstract

A non-rewireable plug or connector which corresponds with a mating member to form a plug-and- socket connection comprises a base member 2 having at least one contact element 15 which has means to connect it to an electrical conductor. An insulating housing 1 fits over the base member and covers the connecting means. The base member and housing are secured by means of cooperating parts or by welding so as to prevent their separation without permanent damage thereto. <IMAGE>
