Abstract

194,577. Radermacher, J. E. April 19, 1922. Hoods. - The frame-work for the hood of a dickey-seat of a two-seater car comprises tubular side members 15, mountablle in internal sockets 14 at the sides of the back 13 of the seat, and a tubular cross-member 16 having socketed connection with the inturned upper ends of the members 15. The sockets 14 may be lengthened to allow the side members 15 to slide down therein. The hood 17 is attached at the front to the main hood 11 and may have side and back panels and a part 19 extending over the seat back 13. According to the Provisional Specification, the ends of the cross-member may receive lateral pins on the vertical members, or downturned ends on the cross-member may telescope into or on the vertical members; also the frame. work may be applied to the hoods of other cars.
