Abstract
192,310. Pichault, S. March 16, 1922. Addition to 152,957. Belt fastenings.- A junction piece for connecting the ends of a spring driving band formed of helically coiled wire, as set forth in the parent Specification, is modified for use with a band formed of a plurality of helically coiled wires. For this purpose, the junction piece 1, comprising a cylindrical solid or hollow rod or sleeve, is externally grooved so as to receive by screwing, either in the same groove or in separate grooves 2, 3, 4 as shown, the ends of the intercoiled wires forming the band, the extremities 5, 6 of each coil being turned in and connected to the junction piece by insertion thereof into a hole 7, or into separate holes for each wire, pierced at a suitable place in the junction piece.
