694,248. Bracelets. BISHTON, A. H., and BISHTON, C. Nov. 22, 1951 [Feb. 15, 1951], No. 3656/51. Class 43. An expansible bracelet for the attachment of wrist watches, identity discs &c. comprises two flexible tubular members a, b each provided at one end with a clip e for connection to the conventional loops of a wrist watch, an inner flexible member g which is slidably threaded through a hole in an end cap f on each of the other ends of the tubular members a, b, and coiled springs h surrounding the parts of the inner flexible member g within the said tubular members and located between heads j on the ends of the inner flexible member and the apertured end caps f. The flexible tubular member! a, b may be of circular, square, or other cross-section and may be made of metal, leather, or plastic material; In the example they are made of helically interlocked metal strip and taper towards their innermost ends. The inner flexible member g consists of a metal snake chain; alternatively a cord or wire of natural or synthetic material may be used.
