Tubes, collapsible.-A closure and delivery-control device for deformable vessels, whereby a predetermined quantity of the contents can be delivered, comprises, in one form, a slidable valve element 4 having an axial conduit 9 and a spring- urged valve 10, the element 4 bearing against a seating 3 at the upper end of a chamber 11 in the neck 2, or contacting with a constriction at the lower end. The cap 5 is furnished with an interponent member 6, whereby, when the cap is screwed on, the valve 10 is opened and the element 4 is pushed back to the lower limit, the contents in this process passing through the conduit 9 into the chamber 11. On withdrawing the cap and squeezing the tube, the element 4 pushes out the contents of the chamber 11 till it contacts with the seating 3. In other forms, the constriction at the lower end of the chamber 11 is dispensed with, the valve element is furnished with a depending guide-pin, the interponent 6 is adjustable in the cap 5 or is mounted on the valve element and may be directly operated by hand, the valve conduit 9 is replaced by grooves in the outer wall of the valve element, or the orifice is located in the side of the neck.
