Aug. 18 Springs, arrangement of and mounting bodies and undercarriages on. - A spring frame for motor - bicycles, side - cars, &c. comprises a parallelogram linkage a, b, g, h which is duplicated on each side of the plane of the wheel. The linkage is pivoted at one of its joints d to the rigid part of the frame of the vehicle, and at another joint e to the member k which is itself pivoted to the rigid frame, so that all the links are movable in relation to each other and to the rigid frame. The disposition of the springs may be varied in a number of ways, and the member k, instead of being pivoted, may take the form of a laminated or other spring.
