Springs, arrangement of and mounting bodies on. - Comprises the combination of means by which the frame is supported from the rear road wheels in a manner which ensures a quicker periodicity when rolling than when vertical movements are taking place in relation to the rear axle, with means for supporting the forward part of the frame from the front wheels in a manner which does not interfere with the freedom of the frame to roll. For instance, the apparatus described in Specification 16,879/11, comprising, rear-axle side springs rigidly connected together by a rocking shaft, may be combined with any of the front suspending-means for permitting rolling described in Specification 25,421/11. A suitable method of supporting the front part of the frame is shown in Fig. 1. One end of a transverse spring A is connected to the axle B, and its other end is supported by a pivoted link C. The spring is pivoted at its centre c to the frame. Tongue-rods f also connect the axle to the frame.
