Winding - apparatus, hands; setting-apparatus. -On opposite sides of the front plate j, wheels k, l are respectively in gear with the winding- arbor and with the motionwork, and an arbor e is provided bearing a pinion d which is normally in gear with the winding-wheel k. This arbor is turned by a milled bead g, and to set the hands it is drawn out before turning against a spring f to bring the pinion into gear with the setting-wheel l.
