4882. Cox, T. R. Feb. 25. Baling-presses.-A manually-operated baling- press comprises a press-box made slightly wider at the front than at the back to facilitate removal of the bale, and a lever b, shaped as shown and co-operating with a pawl d and ratchet g, to press down the platen a. The front of the press is removable, and grooves / are provided to accommodate the binding-cords.
