Kinematograph picture films. - To join two films a, a<1>, the ends are overlapped so as to register the sprocket holes of the pictures e, f, holes b<1> are punched near the sides of the films, and the parts connected by readily detachable fastenings such as push-buttons, bolts, or paperfasteners, which accurately fit the holes. The underneath film is cut with a curved end a<3> to facilitate the passage over the rollers of the apparatus. The method is more especially applicable in the case of broad films having a series of pictures in rows.
