Driving-chains with separate joint pins.-In driving-chains of the kind in which the pivot pin is retained in place by a spring ring B, the side plates or other members and the pins are formed with recesses E in which the spring rings lie. The recesses in the side plates A may be bevelled, or may overhang the ring, and in the latter construction the overhanging portion may be bent over to form a closed housing. The application to chains having two abutting or telescopic pins is described.
