Tent pegs. - Wooden tent pegs are provided with a hoop-iron ring A in which is pivoted a guard or keeper B adapted to retain the rope E in a groove formed below the ring A. The guard is formed with bent sides engaging, when in position, notches C in the peg. The peg is provided with an iron shoe D.
