7427. Siegrist, H. March 24. Basting-appliances.-Comprises apparatus in which steam is generated in a closed vessel 1 and passes down through a pipe 4 to an injector nozzle 5 situated in a pipe 6. The gravy reaches the nozzle through the perforated false bottom of the vessel and is forced through the pipe 6 by the steam and directed over the meat by a distributor 7, which may be shell-shaped or merely a straight arm.
