Stays.-A holder for doors, windows, ventilators, &c. of the type comprising a bar a pivoted at b and reduced at h for engagement with a keyhole slot f is secured out of action by providing an elongated pivot-hole k, Fig. 3. The bar a is held in engagement with the keyhole slot by a notch m and crossbar j, and further notches m<1> may be provided to hold the door in various positions.
