Abstract

7823. Conradi, J. F., and Conradi, E. S. March 31. Fusible cut-outs.-The flat rectangular carrier 3 is provided with a handle, and with a projection 4 over which the fuse wire is led between the contacts 5, which are fitted on opposite sides of the carrier. The base 6 is provided with sunk contacts 9, and is formed with a slot to receive the projection 4. The depth of the projection is such that the fuse is within the slot in the base before the contacts engage. A fire-proof chamber may be arranged below the base.
