The double cone is in two parts 1<a>, 1<b>, kept in register by interlocking edges, or by pins on one part entering holes in the other, and compressed against the flexible pipes A<1>, A<2> by internally tapered nuts 2. Saw-cuts may be made in the ends of the parts 1<a>, 1<b> to give additional flexibility.
