6163. Morris, H. C. March 15. Composition fuel.-Powdered maize or other grain-flour is used as a binder instead of medullary matter in a fuel which also contains anthracite or other coal and pitch, the materials in stated proportions being mixed dry, heated in a pug-mill to which ordinary or superheated steam is admitted, and then moulded under high pressure. The pitch acts as a waterproofing-agent.
