Cutting and slicing meat. - A meat-slicing machine is constructed with an horizontal circular knife, within the circumference and flush with the edge of which a freely rotatable disk is arranged. This disk receives the meat as the slicing takes place, and prevents jamming of the knife. The disk q is mounted on a pivot p in the shaft h of the knife i. On a table c, adjusted by screws f and the inclined surfaces of a pivoted ring d, is shown a ham r which is moved to and from the knife by hand.
