Abstract
17,624. Steinheil, R. Aug. 15, 1906, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Lenses.-An unsymmetrical object i v e consists of four lenses of two, kinds of glass ; two of the lenses, a biconvex and a biconcave, are cemented together on one side of the diaphragm, and the other two, a positive and a negative meniscus, are on the other side of the diaphragm separated from one another by an air space. The glass of the positive lenses is of greater refractive power but of less dispersion than that of the negative elements. Constructional data are given in the Specification. Specification No. 21,211, A.D. 1901, is referred to.
