Abstract
8101. Wilkins, C. H, April 4. Felloes or rims; tyres, pneumatic. -Relates to rims having a detachable flange in the form of a split ring adapted to engage in a groove in the fixed portion of the rim, and consists in forming the groove G and the corresponding tongue F on the detacbable flange B with a re-entrant wall as shown. The ends of the flange may be locked in place by means of setscrews C. In modifications the groove and tongue are formed with curved side faces. The rim members A, B may be in segments.
