Tyres, pneumatic; felloes or rims.-The metallic, channel-shaped rim for receiving a pneumatic tyre is formed in two circumferential parts C, C<1>, the first attached to the felloe B, and the latter adapted to be slid laterally into position. The parts are secured together by double dovetailed dowels F, shown in Fig. 4, being drawn down into corresponding recesses in the rim with the stems f<1> of clamps H which are used to retain the beaded edges of the tyre. In a modification, Fig. 5, dowels F<2> are contained in a series of lateral wedge-shaped recesses formed between the parts C, C', which are secured together by tightening up nuts f<4> on screw projections f<3>.
