6993. Cockburn, C. T. March 23. Feeding-bottles.-Air is admitted to a feeding- bottle through a narrow groove B cut down one side of the neck and through the bead b over which the teat is stretched. In a modification, a small hole may be drilled through the bead. Figs. 5 and 6 show a means of venting a feeding-bottle through a neck formed at the end of the bottle remote from the teat. A groove D is cut in the neck, and a groove E in the stopper, a guide mark e being used to show when the grooves are coincident.
